MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES Is God calling you to work with teenagers? Interim Youth Ministries is looking for couples and individuals whose heart is to make a difference in the lives of American youth. The list of churches that need our help is growing and for IYM to meet all their needs, we have need of additional staff. IYM is a non-profit corporation whose missionaries rely on God and His people to meet their needs. All staff must agree fully with IYM’s Statement of Faith. Contact us at info@interimyouthministries.org. Interim Youth Ministries is getting requests for help with all aspects of the youth ministry. Are you up to the challenge? Missionary Staff positions Interim Youth Specialist – Full time position with housing allowance and expenses dependant upon support raised. o Qualifications: Must have a Bible degree or Bible certificate, personal testimony, youth work experience, integrity and self-motivation, outstanding Christ-like character and a call from God to work with the youth of America. o Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Training leadership and holding leadership conferences, contacting churches requesting assistance, representing IYM at Mission Conferences, overseeing youth groups and Sunday School programs, conducting leader and youth retreats, raising support for personal and IYM ministries, working in and with multiple churches and continuing education and self-improvement. ¨ Interim Youth Specialist – Part-time position with reimbursement of expenses and partial salary based on secular income dependant upon support raised. o Qualifications: As described above. o Responsibilities: Include the above except any part-time missionary’s schedule is subject to review by the Executive Director of IYM. o Part time is for the person or couple that is willing to assist small or struggling churches but may not be able to do this full time due to financial or family reasons. ¨ Interim Youth Intern – Full or Part-time position with reimbursement of expenses and partial salary based on secular income dependant upon support raised. o Qualifications: As described above except does not need prior youth work experience and need only be enrolled in a Bible certificate or degree program. o Responsibilities: Limited to teaching under an IYM full or part time missionary, raising personal support and helping with retreats and seminars. All other is subject to approval by the IYM missionary in charge or the Executive Director.
